With the latest beta of AdminMod and a nicely done plugin by yensid we now have the ability to detect OGC and HLH cheats with AdminMod.

Here is the active thread with details and discussions about OGC/HLH and the plugin.

Here is the Admin Mod Beta dll/so (25011 required)

Here is the latest plugin from yensid.

AMX Converter 26.10.2001

Since the online compiler just had to go due to memory issues on the web server, Florian has gone and done one better.

We now have the Amx Converter that lets you convert compiled Admin Mod script binaries between Linux and Windows formats. That mean you can compile your plugins on Windows and then convert them to Linux format or the other way around.

Get it from the downloads page. There is a GUI version for Windows and a commandline version for Linux.

Can you count to 92? 25.10.2001

Yup, that's 92 plugins available for download. Anyone running all 92? I hope not :p

More plugins and more to come. 01.10.2001

Here are a few of the plugins I have received in the last little while. There are still more to post tomorrow but you will have to wait for those.

-[ Dio ]-

Another long overdue update. 05.09.2001

Summer is coming to an end and it's time to get ready for a whole new batch of stuff. I have update the plugins page with the latest plugins for you to play with.

I have almost completed the layout changes to the site and will be posting them within the next week or so. Im sure you will all like them. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see here or a feature of the site, let me know and I will do my best to get it here.

More plugins!! 30.07.2001

I think we now have enough plugins to sink a small ship. Keep them coming and try to make them original.

-[ Dio ]-

A long overdue update to the plugins page. 23.07.2001

What can I say. The plugins page is up to date for all plugins that have been submitted.

If you don't see your plugin on the page, you had better yell at me.

-[ Dio ]-

57? OMG! 13.07.2001

Can you believe we currently have 57 plugins?! I just posted two updates and a new plugin from sank. Check them out!

-[ Dio ]-

Linux plugin source problems. 05.07.2001

I am now distributing all of the plugins in ZIP format. This will allow the linux boys (and girls) to put a -a parameter on the unzip command line to convert the DOS crlf chars to linux format.

Since the DL counters have not been working for a while, they have been reset to zero until we find a new home.

THE MAT! IN A PLUGIN! 04.07.2001

This is just a must for anyone who frequents the MAT in the forums. Some of the stupid things people say can be seen on your server!

Go get the plugin_mat by Scoutn.

Small Manual and more plugins. 27.06.2001

For the scripters out there, I have posted the manual for Small that matches the AM scripting engine. You can grab it from the functions page. We will be posting the Small manuals on the that page and the help page when we implement new Small versions.

And of course there are more plugins to play with.

New AM 2.50e release! 17.06.2001

The plugins have been updated for the 2.50e release of AM. All plugins (AFAICT) are ready for the release. There should be no incompatibilities with execclient or other changes.

If you find a problem, hit the scripting forum and make sure you are nice and clear.

-[ Dio ]-

execclient issues. 12.06.2001

The problems with the execclient() function are being resolved as we speak. The plugin_sank_messagemode plugin has been updated to work around the changes in AM and the other plugins using the function will be fixed soon.

I will keep you posted.

-[ Dio ]-

New section soon. 12.06.2001

I will be adding a tools section to the site this week. If you have made any utilities that are related to the scripting side of AM, send them to me.

-[ Dio ]-

Updated again. 12.06.2001

The plugins have been updated with last weeks submissions. Get them while there hot. ;)

If you upgraded to AM 2.50d (which you should) then there are known problems with three plugins.

  1. plugin_sank_sound.
  2. plugin_dio_lazy.
  3. plugin_dio_point.

Any plugin using the execclient() function may be affected in the latest release.

I have just updated the plugin_dio_point, the others are being looked at.

-[ Dio ]-

AM 2.50d released with fixes. 09.06.2001

Now all you Linux Admins can try the plugin_dio_point that was crashing your servers. The AM 2.50d release has fixed the problem.

-[ Dio ]-

Some new stuff on the new site. 05.06.2001

Well not that new.

The updates?

  1. Updated (minor) FAQ page.
  2. plugin_dio_motm plugin to have a little trouble shooting built right in.
  3. plugin_fun has more colours, rainbows and more.
  4. plugin_method_time has been totaly fixed.

Also the online compiler is diabled for now. We are looking into it. Just wait.

-[ Dio ]-

One new and two updated plugins. 26.05.2001

Check out the plugins again! We have updates to -=CPU=- R3AP3R's retrobution plugin and my own point plugin. And as an added bonus, if you act now, you can have, absolutely free, a plugin that lets you be almost as lazy as the point plugin!

Go check out the page, you'll see.

-[ Dio ]-

OMG an update? 'bout time! 10.05.2001

I have updated the plugins once again. There are a couple of new ones and a fix or two to boot. Remember, it it's new or updated, It's at the top of the list.

-[ Dio ]-

Plugin download problems fixed. 04.05.2001

Who knew that "sect" (§) was an html character entity? Not me. The downloads should now work on all browsers I hope.

-[ Dio ]-

Up to date? 02.05.2001

As of this moment, all of the new and revised plugins should be on the site. If you've submitted something that's not posted, send it to me again (and bitch that I didn't post it before) so I can get it up right away!

-[ Dio ]-

An online compiler for Linux Admins 28.04.2001

Thanks to Florian's hard work it is now possible to compile scripts for linux using the webserver. There is a new link to the right called compiler. Give it a try!

-[ Dio ]-

More! More! More! 20.04.2001

Well, I just did my first update of the plugins page in four whole days! Some people were getting a little edgy with the lack of updates in so long ;) Sorry, real life comes first ... once and a while anyway.

The problems with the DL links should be fixed now too (thanks yensid). Stupid case sensitive Linux. It's almost as stupid as the billysoft products.

-[ Dio ]-

More plugins!!! 16.04.2001

What else can I say. The plugins are coming in like crazy. Thanks to all the plugin writers.

-[ Dio ]-

A ton of new plugins! 09.04.2001

Well, ok, how about six new plugins added to the plugins page. I am getting so many submissions that I think its time to group the plugins by mod or function or something.

-[ Dio ]-

New plugins almost every day. 05.04.2001

Make sure you're checking the Plugins page for new stuff almost every day. We want to share our scripts! Come and get them!

-[ Dio ]-

AdminMod in the news?? 03.04.2001

The boys over at CS-Nation put up a little blurb on the release of AdminMod v2.50. It also happened to mention of one of our better plugin features ;)

-[ Dio ]-

An era has come to an end. 31.03.2001

This is it. No more of the find code, merge, edit, test, swear, edit till it works cycle.

With the release of the AdminMod v2.5 and its revolutionary new plugins (thanks Jag), we scripters will be able to share our inventions with you admins in nice, tidy little packages. There should be less posts on the forums saying "How do I merge this?" and "When I typed it in...it does not work". This will give us scripters more time to invent nasty ways of punishing llamas, etc.

I won't go into everything that's new with AdminMod, that's Greg's job, but I will point you at an ever growing resource to these wonderful inventions called plugins. I am inpressed that we collected over 10 unique plugins from our beta test team before the final version was released. That's a tall order considering Jag didn't write any of them. ;)

Watch for some changes here at AScript because it's out with the old and in with the new. Goodbye to the complete scripts section. You will not be missed.

-[ Dio ]-

A new tutorial for compiling. 21.02.2001

Budfroggy as sent me along a newbie tutorial on how to compile scripts. This one deals with Jags beta but most of the information is good in general.
